China’s Maritime Economy and Maritime Science & Technology was compiled and revised by the Marine Development Strategy Institute of State Oceanic Administration. It is one of the volumes of the series of China’s Maritime Development which is the publishing program sponsored by the National Publishing Fund as well as the Twelfth Five-year Guideline of National Important Books. This book presents the latest achievements in China’s maritime economy and science and technology gained in recent years providing the readers with their actual development situation.
Liu Rongzi, female, born in November 1960, is now the director of the Research Center of Marine Economy and Science and Technology of the Marine Development Strategy Institute of State Oceanic Administration as well as a research fellow. She has long been engaged in the studies of maritime economy and science and technology. She is the principal investigator of the scientific research of over 10 national major programs. She has published many academic books and articles and won the Maritime Innovation Achievements Awards, China’s Development Research Prize and other awards.
